Looking to better understand the impact of equipment choices and modifications on ski performance? With an introduction to bootfitting practices and on-hill experiences that illustrate the merits of well adjusted boots, bindings and skis, certified instructors can gain the knowledge to take their lessons to the next level. Through indoor and on-hill activities, an education staff member will help you explore equipment modifications including canting, heel/toe lifts, shims and more.
Learning Experiences:
Specific activities will vary depending on the group’s needs and environmental conditions and typically include:
- Indoor presentations outlining principles of bootfitting
- On-hill activities to highlight bootfitting ideals, anomalies and deficiencies
- Guided group discussions
