Looking for an early season opportunity to brush-up your skills, surrounded by like-minded pros? Ready to be inspired by outstanding leaders and discover new tools and ideas? Combined with Master’s Academy and certification/accreditation colleges, Snow Pro Jam gathers over 500 instructors, sponsors and leaders for five days of snowsports, education and camaraderie. Experience the biggest PSIA-AASI event in the East, if not the country!

The Alpine Level II Teaching College is designed to help put the finishing touches on the participant’s readiness for assessment. Through on-hill practice, peer-to-peer activities, teaching scenarios and group discussions, become familiar with the format, assessment criteria and activities prior to completing a Level II Teaching Assessment later in the week. Participants can expect the following format:

  • Day 1-4: Participants are led through on-snow, educational content by an Eastern Education Staff member to support their readiness for a Level II Teaching Assessment.
  • Day 5: Participants take part in a Level II Teaching Assessment with two scoring Examiners.

Participants should arrive prepared to be on snow for five days and able to ski safely on all Level II skiing appropriate terrain.

Participants must complete the online Professional Knowledge Exam and a Children’s Specialist 1 Accreditation prior to attending the event. For more information about the Certification Standards, Performance Guide, and Assessment Forms, go to the PSIA-AASI Certification Resources.

On-snow activities are complemented by social happenings, including a cocktail and hors d’oeuvres party on Thursday, indoor presentations and more. Whether this is your first year at “Pro Jam” or you are a seasoned veteran, this is bound to be a week to remember.

Guests of registered participants can attend select portions of the event by purchasing a “Social Package.” This package will include access to the Thursday Cocktail Party, indoor presentations, and the optional Wednesday afternoon session (separate groups will be formed). Further details are forthcoming, and registration options will be sent to participants in the weeks leading up to the event.
