The Northern Hoedown Telemark/Nordic Tour of Adirondack area will center about the Gore Mtn and Garnet Hill XC Center area. We will highlight the majestic beauty and height of the Adirondacks central area. During the event participants will spend the first day at Gore Mtn telemarking the amazing long groomers and hopefully most of the gladed areas. On day two we will make a short travel to Garnet Hill XC area and explore some of their off piste trails and for some light Backcountry skiing with tips on classical and skate skiing. On day three the group will return to Gore Mtn and explore the Burnt Ridge area and Little Gore. Each evening or après ski time the clinicians will be offering a group après or dinner choice in the local area as well as a Nordic celebration Norway style. The event is open to all levels as long as you can ski easy blue trails xc and tele wise. Backcountry equipment can be rented at Garnet Hill for and affordable price if need be.
