BirdieBlue is a woman owned, Vermont-based company that transforms old outdoor gear into colorful, one-of-a-kind bags, and they have partnered with PSIA-AASI Eastern to give their retired ed staff uniforms a second life—as bold, functional bags made for adventure on and off the mountain. Each Carry All Tote, Traveler Dopp Kit, and Fanny Pack is cut and sewn from real-deal ed staff gear, blending technical durability with one-of-a-kind style. Each piece in this collection is handcrafted by women sewists in Vermont from authentic PSIA ed staff uniforms. Durable waterproof fabrics that once taught generations of instructors are now stitched into bags designed for your everyday adventures.
And here’s the best part: 40% of proceeds from every bag come back to PSIA-AASI Eastern, supporting our members and the work we do together.
✨ This is a limited-edition, pre-order collection and the pre-order window closes Friday, October 17th. Once the uniforms are gone, no more bags can be made.
📦 Shipping & Pickup: Bags will be shipped when ready. If you’d like to pick yours up at the PSIA-AASI Eastern Academy or Summit Academy this December at Killington, Vermont, simply leave a note in the orange box on the checkout page under “Order Special Instructions.”
🎨 Colors: Bag colors may differ slightly from the product photos, but all will feature unique variations of Light Blue, Green, Navy, and Orange—each as one-of-a-kind as your season on snow.
