It’s almost time to sign up for our favorite events of the year – Summit, Eastern and Mini Academies!
The US’s largest gathering of snowsports instructors returns this December.

Academy week is packed with everything you love — a fantastic early-season tune-up, amazing clinicians and 5 days of learning, reconnecting with old friends and making new ones, and tons of fun as you focus on your own development.

As it has shown successful, we will continue to split the registration times to avoid overloading the system.

- Alpine Summit Academy (Alpine Certified Level III Members)
- Snowboard Summit Academy (AASI Certified Level II or Level III Members)
- Mini Academies (Level II or III on December 12-13)
Monday, September 28 at 1:00 PM EDT for:
- Adaptive Eastern Academy (Registered, Certified Members)
- Children’s Focus Eastern Academy (Registered, Certified Members)
- Snowboard Eastern Academy (Registered, Certified Members)
- Telemark Eastern Academy (Registered, Certified Members & actively teaching non-members)
- Alpine Eastern Academy (Registered, Certified Level I or Level II Members) session selection within event

- A New Approach to Assessment Preparation in the Alpine Eastern Academy If you’ve attended Eastern Academy in the past, you’ll notice one important change: our long-running Level I and II Colleges have been replaced with more focused Prep offerings. These sessions are better aligned with our new modular assessment formats, allowing participants to choose the area where they want the most targeted coaching—Skiing & Technical Knowledge/Movement Analysis or Teaching & People Skills. Each participant will receive individualized written feedback to help guide continued development beyond the event. We believe the strongest certification outcomes come from meaningful practice over time, and this new format is designed to provide clearer, more actionable feedback as you prepare for assessment.

Registration Notes:
Registration is completed online; however, we are available to assist by phone if necessary. Remember these are extremely popular events; make sure you register early for the best chance of securing your spot!
We are typically able to accommodate most people on the waitlist, so if we have reached capacity, make sure you have a valid credit card on file and add your name to the waitlist for your best chance of attending.
“Established” Groups
All groups are set the first morning of Eastern Academy. Planning to join with friends / your Established Group? Register under General Skiing Improvement and we’ll work to place you together when groups are finalized onsite.
