Alpine Level I Prep – 3 Day

Description:

Preparing for your Alpine Level I Assessment? This three-day event is designed to help candidates build confidence and familiarity with the assessment process while developing the knowledge and skills expected of a Level I instructor working in the beginner/novice zone. It is required for candidates who are not currently affiliated with a snowsports school and is also an excellent opportunity to supplement the training and mentoring available through a snowsports school while gaining additional perspective from PSIA-AASI Education Staff.

This event provides expanded opportunities for guided practice, individualized coaching, movement analysis, teaching application, and reflection, allowing participants more time to build confidence and refine their understanding before attending the Alpine Level I Assessment.

Participants should arrive prepared to be on snow for three days and able to ski safely on all green and blue terrain.
