Course Description:
These clinics will provide attendees with a full description of the Adaptive Alpine Level 1 format and requisite standards, both National and Eastern with a specific focus on the discipline (VI/Cog, 3/4T, Mono/Bi) listed. This is an introduction to Adaptive Alpine Coaching, a first-time PSIA course, and designed as an Instructor Trainer Course (ITC) for new adaptive instructors. The format and content will be driven by the participants and their needs and goals. There will be on-snow time for many of the exam requirements, dependent upon the needs of the group. Any and all questions will be entertained and encouraged. Participants should expect the outcome of the course to be familiarity with the Level I Adaptive Alpine exam standards and a personal plan on how to achieve them.
