DESCRIPTION:
Ever thought of joining the ‘gated community’? If just skiing down a groomer is not enough excitement, explore the techniques and race tactics used to master a Slalom or Giant Slalom course. This event is designed to gain a better understanding of why perfect skill blending in all phases of each turn is even more important when tackling gates. While this course will not qualify you for the Olympics, you should buckle up for increased performance and speed!
Participants can expect to split their time between skills development on the slopes and tactical approaches in the gates. No previous racing experience is necessary, though participants should arrive prepared to spend two vigorous days on the hill and be comfortable on all groomed terrain. Where applicable, a group may elect to venture into ungroomed terrain.
