Course Description:
This event is for participants that have at least a novice to above understanding of Telemark skiing. This event will review the components of a Telemark turn and how these basic movements can be taught successfully to diverse styles of students. Creative activities, small progressions, exercises coupled with movement analysis to target the concerned areas of students will allow people to learn to teach effectively. The group’s level will dictate the areas we teach in, all levels will be explored. Must be able to Telemark on blue square terrain.
If you will be pursuing Telemark Level I Certification, please be sure to complete the online professional knowledge exam prior to the on snow evaluation. The Telemark Level I Professional Knowledge Exam is available on the National eLearning website under “Exams” and “Eastern Division” scroll down to the bottom of the page to find the Telemark Level I Professional Knowledge Exam. CANCEL/TRANSFER/NO SHOW POLICY FOR EASTERN EVENTS:
IF YOU NEED TO TRANSFER or CANCEL: please call (518) 452-6095.
Up to 3 weeks prior to the event start: Full refund of the cost of your event registration.
Less than 3 weeks prior to the event start: 50% refund of the cost of your event registration.
Less than one week prior to the start date and time of your event, event registrations are non-refundable.
Note: Certain premier regional and national events follow a cancellation policy different from the standard cancellation policy outlined above. Please refer to those events directly for the applicable event cancellation policies.
IF YOU NEED TO CANCEL or TRANSFER from an EVENT that is 4 or more days:
