Do you dream of being able to dive into a bump run without hesitation, have a choice of the line you want to ski, the tactics to pull it off, and look good doing it? Come join us for two days’ focused on the ingredients to good bump skiing on blue and easier black terrain. By focusing on the fundamentals, the group will explore body posture, flexion and extension skills, and upper and lower body independence. All of this will be explored through activities, movement analysis, exploration of lines, tactics, and how poles can play a role in how we tackle the bumps. Discussions of how the Skiing Fundamentals and the Skills Concept can help us understand how our bodies are moving, versus how they should move, and how the skis should be performing in the bumps.

Prerequisites: Current PSIA-AASI Membership, Level 1 Certification

· Physically able to spend two days in the intermediate zone bumps.
