Course Description:

Ready to tune-up your skiing? Looking to confirm or clarify some teaching or movement assessment concepts? With the Alpine Update, you can give your on-hill skills a boost all while taking in the latest developments within our organization.

Specific activities will vary depending on the group and environmental conditions; however, they will typically include:

  • Individual ski improvement through the lens of the Alpine Technical Skills
  • A brief review of the Learning Connection Model
  • Opportunities for Q & A in specific areas of interest, including teaching methods, movement assessment and equipment considerations.

Participants should arrive prepared to be on snow for 2 days and able to ski safely on all groomed terrain. Depending on trail availability and snow conditions, a group may elect to venture into ungroomed terrain, including moguls and glades.
