Course Description:
The Level I College is designed as an introduction to ski instruction. Participants will be introduced to the PSIA-AASI Learning Connection Model. They will focus on the fundamentals of skiing as they relate to the Technical, Teaching, and People Skills, at the beginner and novice levels. There will be of coaching, followed by a Level I Certification assessment. This course is geared toward skiers who are comfortable making parallel turns on all Green Circle and groomed Blue Square terrain. It is recommended that you are employed by an accredited Snowsports School.
Prerequisites:
- Must be a member of PSIA-AASI
- Must complete the PSIA-AASI Level I eLearning Course prior to registering.
