The PSIA-AASI Anniversary Pins (20, 30, 40, 50 or 60 years) are awarded based on years of uninterrupted membership, and are shipped from the PSIA-AASI National office. The Accessories Catalog ships once a year in September or October from the PSIA-AASI National Headquarters.

The reinstatement process was set up to provide former members a path to return to active membership without loss of their prior certification level. If you are a current US Ski and Snowboard (USSS) member with your USSS certification (Level 100 or higher) who joins PSIA-AASI, you can opt out of the PSIA-AASI level I certification assessment. Your member card will not show your USSS certification, but having your USSS certification allows you to bypass the level I assessment

Members, who are unable to teach snowsports due to a temporary active-duty assignment for the Armed Forces of the United States, may petition their regional office for a waiver of their membership dues and/or education requirements. Click here for more information.

An Education Prepayment fee will be added to your membership dues renewal statement if you didn’t satisfy your education requirements in the previous season. That Prepayment fee can be applied in its entirely toward your qualifying event in the coming season.
