Alumni Certification Reactivation Policy
If you are an Alumni Member and want to return to the Certified Member Category, here are the requirements:
Same Season
- Pay current season’s full membership dues + $50 reactivation fee (less any amount already paid toward Alumni dues)
- Continue to meet CEU requirements (6 CEUs a season, plus any outstanding past and current CEUs – up to a maximum of 24)
- This is a one-time opportunity – if you do not meet your CEU requirements you will be moved back to the Alumni membership category.
- If you want to reactivate your certification a second time, you must do your CEUs before your certification is restored and pay a $105 Reactivation Fee
1 Year in the Alumni Category, you must:
- Pay the current season’s membership dues + $94.50 reactivation fee (less any amount already paid toward Alumni dues).
- Continue to meet CEU requirements (6 CEUs a season, plus any outstanding past and current CEUs – up to a maximum of 24).
2 – 4 Years in the Alumni Category, you must:
- Pay the current season’s membership dues plus a $105 reactivation fee.
- Continue to meet CEU requirements (6 CEUs a season, plus any outstanding past and current CEUs – up to a maximum of 24).
(NOTE: your CEU requirements may vary if you have participated in online programs or single day events where you earned CEUs. Member services will determine your requirements as part of your recertification plan.)
5 Years or More in the Alumni Category, you must:
- Pay the current season’s membership dues + $190 reactivation fee.
- Continue to meet CEU requirements (6 CEUs a season, plus any outstanding past and current CEUs – up to a maximum of 24).
11 Years or More in the Alumni Category, you must:
- Members may apply to a region for recertification consideration. If accepted, a personal
recertification plan will be developed by the region in which the member wishes to
recertify.
* NOTE: the reactivation process isn’t considered complete until all education requirements are met. During the reactivation process your membership card will show “Certified Inactive” status until the reactivation process is complete, at which time it will change to “Certified Active.”
